When you sign up for First On Map, we collect the following information:

• Business name, type, city, and state
• Phone number and email address
• Payment information (processed by Stripe -- we never store card numbers)
• Google Business Profile data (when you connect your listing)
• Usage data including pages visited, features used, and session duration

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and maintain the First On Map service
• To post to your Google Business Profile on your behalf
• To respond to reviews on your listing
• To generate ranking and performance reports
• To process payments and manage your subscription
• To send transactional emails (welcome, payment confirmations, reports)
• To communicate service updates or changes

3. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate First On Map:

• Stripe -- Payment processing. Stripe handles all card data per PCI-DSS standards. Stripe Privacy Policy
• Supabase -- Database and authentication infrastructure. Supabase Privacy Policy
• Resend -- Transactional email delivery. Resend Privacy Policy
• Google -- Google Business Profile API for posting and review management. Google Privacy Policy
• Zernio -- Automation and workflow processing.
• Vercel -- Website hosting and deployment. Vercel Privacy Policy

4. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. After cancellation, we retain business data for 90 days in case you choose to reactivate. Payment records are retained for 7 years as required for tax and accounting purposes. You may request deletion of your data at any time (see Section 6).

5. Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (TLS), secure authentication, and access controls. Payment data is handled entirely by Stripe and never touches our servers. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Data Deletion Requests

You may request deletion of your personal data by emailing support@firstonmap.com with the subject line "Data Deletion Request." We will process your request within 30 days and confirm deletion via email.

7. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. No data is sold to third parties.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
